La French Touch Project

La French Touch, founded by two chefs from France, in love with Japan, who have mastered Japanese cuisine, are about to deliver hidden japanese products all over Japan!
Their refined sensitivity and creativity of the chefs from the epicurean country, France, enthusiasm for discovery with love and respect to Japan, and passion to express the potential of WASHOKU (Japanese cuisine) in various ways, inspired them to establish La French Touch. Moreover, their focal point is to bring out the “cuisine” harmonized with their creativity and originality.

Founder

  • Born in Nantes in 1977, trained and experienced at the first-class French restaurants such as “Patrick Leguen” * l’Agape and “Olivier Rollinger” *** “Le Château Richeux“ in Britain and “ Gualterio Marchesi” *** in Italy .
  • Find the way to the washoku cuisine at the restaurant Soba “Yen” in Paris .
  • Work at “stella Maris” , under the chef Tateru Yoshino in Paris . Came to Japan in 2003 for the opening of “L’ATELIER de Joël Robuchon” ** in Roppongi Hills .
  • 2004, started working as the head chef at the Embassy of France in Japan, working on events and receptions for the embassy and top brand businesses .
  • 2013, awarded for L’Ordre du Mérite Agricole . And les toques Blanches du Monde .
  • 2017, creation of La French Touch

François Audrin

Co-Founder

  • Born in St Nazaire in 1982, already had a global view, was trained and sharpen the skills at notably famous Michelin star restaurants in Ireland, UK, Switzerland and so on.
  • Working as the executive chef at Mega yacht “Christina Onassis”.
  • 2011, headhunted as the head chef of the residence of EU ambassador to Japan, entertaining guests at home and abroad, with Japanese food ingredients, making the most use of his broad experience in European countries.
  • Engaged into developing a culinary school in Southern France after completing his term as the ambassador’s chef.
  • 2013, awarded for L’Ordre du Mérite Agricole . And les toques Blanches du Monde .
  • 2017, coming back to Japan and found “La French Touch”.
